At FlyNextEscape, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent, providing you with flexibility while protecting our ability to serve all our customers effectively.

Please note that our cancellation policies comply with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) where applicable.

General Cancellation Rules

  • All cancellations must be made in writing or through your online account
  • Cancellation charges vary based on the time of cancellation and type of booking
  • Some special promotional fares or flash sale bookings may be non-refundable
  • Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment
  • GST and other taxes are refundable only when the base fare is refundable
  • Special cancellation policies may apply during peak seasons (Diwali, New Year, Summer vacations)
  • Processing time for refunds may vary depending on your payment method and bank
  • All refunds are subject to supplier policies and any third-party cancellation fees

Important Notice:

Due to high demand, cancellations for bookings during major Indian festivals and holidays (Diwali, Holi, Christmas, New Year, etc.) may have stricter policies and higher cancellation fees.

Flight Cancellations

Domestic Flights (India)

More than 72 hours before departure

Cancellation fee: ₹1,500 per passenger or airline fee, whichever is higher

48-72 hours before departure

Cancellation fee: ₹2,500 per passenger or airline fee, whichever is higher

24-48 hours before departure

Cancellation fee: ₹3,500 per passenger or airline fee, whichever is higher

Less than 24 hours

Non-refundable in most cases

Additional Information:

  • These fees are in addition to any airline-imposed penalties
  • IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet, and other Indian carriers may have their own specific policies
  • For flights regulated under the UDAN scheme, special cancellation rules may apply
  • Airport fees and User Development Fees (UDF) are generally refundable
  • For group bookings (10+ passengers), different cancellation terms apply - please contact our customer support

International Flights

More than 14 days before departure

Cancellation fee: ₹5,000 per passenger or airline fee, whichever is higher

7-14 days before departure

Cancellation fee: ₹7,500 per passenger or airline fee, whichever is higher

3-7 days before departure

Cancellation fee: ₹10,000 per passenger or airline fee, whichever is higher

Less than 3 days

Non-refundable in most cases

Train & Bus Cancellations

Indian Railways (IRCTC)

  • Cancellation policies as per IRCTC rules
  • Flat cancellation fee of ₹200 for service charges + IRCTC cancellation charges
  • Refunds processed directly to the original payment source
  • Tatkal tickets generally have limited or no refund options

Bus Bookings

  • More than 24 hours: 75% refund
  • 12-24 hours: 50% refund
  • 4-12 hours: 25% refund
  • Less than 4 hours: Non-refundable
  • AC buses and sleeper services may have different policies
  • Policies may vary by operator (RedBus, AbhiBus, state transport corporations)

Hotel Cancellations

Our package tours represent carefully curated travel experiences with multiple components. Cancellation policies for packages are more structured due to commitments with various service providers.

  • Kerala, Goa, Rajasthan packages: Stricter cancellation during October-March (peak season)
  • Kashmir, Himachal packages: Special policies during snowfall season (Dec-Feb)
  • Northeast India packages: More flexible policies with possible rescheduling options
  • Golden Triangle Tours: Standard cancellation policy applies with peak season adjustments
  • Wildlife & Safari Packages: Special cancellation rules during monsoon closures

International Tour Packages

  • Southeast Asia packages: Relatively flexible with rescheduling options
  • Europe packages: Strict non-refundable policies within 30 days of departure
  • Dubai/Middle East packages: Special policies during Ramadan and Eid periods
  • Australia/New Zealand packages: Higher cancellation fees due to advance visa requirements
  • USA/Canada packages: Visa-related specialized cancellation terms

Special Package Types

Group Tours
  • 10-15 travelers: Standard policy with group discount protection
  • 16+ travelers: Custom cancellation policy
  • Partial group cancellations have special terms
  • Group leader changes allowed without penalty
Honeymoon Packages
  • Special cancellation protection available
  • Date changes allowed up to 15 days before
  • Complimentary travel insurance provided
  • Destination swaps possible with minimal fees
Adventure Packages
  • Weather-dependent special rules
  • Equipment rental non-refundable within 7 days
  • Guide fees non-refundable within 14 days
  • Season-specific cancellation terms

Partial Cancellations

For cancellations of specific components of a package (such as one activity or one hotel night):

  • Individual component cancellation fees will apply
  • Package discounts may be recalculated
  • Changes to package itinerary may affect overall pricing
  • Some premium inclusions may be non-refundable regardless of timing
  • Contact our customer service team for assistance with partial cancellations

  • Guided tour fees

Generally Non-Refundable:

  • Booking service fees
  • Travel insurance premiums
  • Visa processing fees
  • Special event tickets
  • Pre-booked specialty dining
  • Personalization charges

Special Circumstances

Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, etc.), special cancellation terms may apply. Each case will be evaluated individually.

  • Full refund may be provided in cases of government-imposed travel restrictions
  • Alternative travel dates will be offered where possible
  • Travel credit may be provided in lieu of refunds
  • For situations like cyclones, floods, and other natural disasters common in certain regions of India, we follow government advisories

Medical Emergencies

For cancellations due to medical emergencies, we may offer more flexible terms with proper documentation:

  • Medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner required
  • Hospital admission documents if applicable
  • Case-by-case evaluation
  • Possibility of rescheduling without penalties
  • The medical emergency must pertain to the traveler or immediate family members

Visa Rejections

For international bookings affected by visa rejections:

  • Copy of visa rejection letter required
  • Refund policies vary by service provider and booking terms
  • Flight tickets: Airline rules apply, usually non-refundable taxes only
  • Hotel bookings: Partial refund may be possible depending on hotel policy
  • Package tours: Up to 70% refund may be possible depending on timing
  • Visa application fees and travel insurance premiums are non-refundable

Refund Process

Our refund process is designed to be as smooth and transparent as possible:

  1. Submit cancellation request through your account or customer service
  2. Receive confirmation of cancellation request
  3. Refund amount calculated based on applicable policy
  4. Refund processed to original payment method
  5. Confirmation email sent with refund details

Expected Processing Times:

  • Credit Card: 7-14 business days
  • Debit Card: 5-10 business days
  • Bank Transfer: 3-7 business days
  • Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
  • UPI Payments: 2-5 business days
  • Travel Credit: Immediate (for future bookings)

Payment Methods & Details:

  • Indian Credit/Debit Cards: Refunded to same card
  • International Cards: May incur currency conversion fees
  • Net Banking: Refunded to source account
  • UPI/Wallets: Refunded to source or bank account
  • EMI Payments: Subject to bank-specific policies
  • Partial payments: Refunded proportionally

GST Refunds: For cancellations where the base fare/cost is refundable, GST and other taxes will be refunded as per government regulations. For partial refunds, taxes are refunded proportionally. GST invoices for refunds will be issued as per regulations.
